The solar lamp has an on/off function; this must be manually switched to UV or lamp to activate it. The lamp will be off during the day, charging while in direct sunlight. The solar powered lamp will then automatically activate (turn on) in darkness or at night.
• Attach the spike to the lamp • Push the spike firmly into the ground • Make sure the solar panel is switched on Simply open the top to switch from UV to lamp • Test the lamp by covering the solar panel with your hand to sinitila darkness, or check that it is working at night. • Place the solar panel in direct sunlight. • Adequate sunlight is necessary to charge the battery fully. .• Once charged by sunlight, the light will shine in darkness or at night. • Ensure the solar panel is clean and dust free at all times. • To switch off or to switch between UV lamp and lantern, simply unscrew the top off and select the switch mode you require. • Re-screw the top back on
